Frank, Did you setup a user account and then put a forward on that user account? If so you will only see a user account. If you set it up as an alias that forwards to another account (proper way to setup an automatic forward) then you still would not see a forward account. If you are trying to copy multiple people you can either use the alias with multiple email addresses or you can use a user account (if you want that user to have access to the web interface and calendar) and in the forwarding section put in a ., before the first person you want to have a copy of the email followed by a comma between each additional person who gets a copy.
The only place I see a .fwd file is when someone has used the web mail feature and has forwarded an email to someoneelse from there. It will be called main.fwd. I emailed ipswitch last week but haven't heard anything from them. Have to make a decision asap. Guess we won't be buying Imail. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sanford Whiteman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Frank" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, March 10, 2002 3:55 PM Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] mail has already been here problem > > There are no aliases or forwarding set up for this account. > > I know this is a frustrating response, but are you SURE (i.e. not > trusting the GUI, but looking directly in the > IMAIL\...\USERS\<username> folder) that there are no .FWD files?
