Yes,  *as  with any mail server*, you have to tell Imail that you want
it  to  accept  mail  for  a  particular  host  name.  Just because it
*appears*  to  be a subdomain/superdomain doesn't mean that it will be
automatically accepted--it could have a totally different MX!

But  they  only  had  the  subdomain  in  their  setup?  I  doubt that
seriously. If so, all of their developers should be fired immediately!
More  likely,  you  set up the domain.com as your primary host name on
those machines, which you didn't on Imail.
