What version on Imail are you using? Version 7.03 and eariler v7 versions
had IMAP problems that were fixed in 7.04.

I also had an IMAP problem with 7.04 HF1 the other day where the message got
sent, but had problems going from the Outbox to the sent folder as defined
in the account IMAP properties on the workstation. The problem did not
exist on another workstation. It turned out to be a corrupt .dbx file on
the local workstation.

I am having problems with Outlook (not Express) sending messages using
IMAP. Occasionally a user will create a message, click send and the message
will remain in the Outbox, regardless of how many times you click send and
receive. There will be no information regarding any contact with the Imail
server in the syslog. Also, often the user can create and send a message
while that message continues to remain in the outbox. The message may
eventually send. I have seen this with 3 users.

I have examined the knowledge base for info relating to this but cannot
find anything.

 Thanks,
 Bart G.
