Just a clarification here: host names and domain names don't have
reverse
DNS entries, only IPs do. If www.varsitycontractors.com has an A record
of
63.230.118.54, then 63.230.118.54 would need the reverse DNS entry.

They are both right and wrong. Although they may have the PTR entry, it

isn't in the DNS servers responsible for the 63.230.118.54 reverse DNS.

You can't have a PTR record for an MX record. The DNS report makes sure

that the mail servers have PTR records, by checking to see what the IP
address of the mailservers are (using the MX records), and checking to
see
if those IPs have reverse DNS entries.

Just ask them if they can "set up the reverse DNS for 63.230.118.54 so
that
it returns www.varsitycontractors.com" (and then repeat it for any other

addresses as needed, if they can do it). If they can't do that, tell
them
you are switching to a real ISP. If they can't set up a reverse DNS
entry
for you, they shouldn't be providing bandwidth for you. Reverse DNS
entries are technically required by the RFCs for all Internet hosts, so
it
sounds like they are really clueless.

>One more thing, Scott, it seems that I see different info on the
>reports when I go in... How often do you update the code?

It is usually only updated every couple of weeks or so, and typically
only
for minor changes.
