> Is a mailto: written with an uppercase M such as Mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > RFC acceptable?
RFC2396 (URI: Generic Syntax): "For resiliency, programs interpreting URI should treat upper case letters as equivalent to lower case in scheme names (e.g., allow "HTTP" as well as "http")." So it depends a little on the specific code and context, but strictly by the RFC, upper, lower, and mixed case -should- have the same result. -- Dave Salovesh RAM Associates, Inc.
