There is a situation with the latest revision of a certain e-mail client. If the user types a mailto or even a URL beginning in uppercase, it does not produce a functional link. Before I issued a bug report, I wished to determine that this was indeed a bug in the client software, rather than an adherence to an RFC that I was not familiar with. It's a little strange because the links work fine if they're done in lowercase.
