I setup bind 9.x in 15 minutes. It is not brain surgery. Oh yea that was on win2k. Add the secondary it took me another 30 minutes.
Research of how to do the setup 1 work day. What is lacking when I was reasearching setting up DNS was some real examples of the configuration files. It took some digging but I found them. We chose BIND because if we decide to migrate to another platform (Linux) we would just need to move the config files and be done with it.
