Hi everyone! Need some help on this issue.
I have an Imail server who's name is imail.netpoint.com.br and has it's reverse correctly created (200.246.181.7) This server hosts several virtual domains. One of these virtual domains has it's mx record created as smtp.domain.com.br -> 200.246.181.7 The problem is that when the servers connect to exchange mail, the fully qualified name that appears on the connection is imail.netpoint.com.br and when the other server checks for the reverse (ptr) record, the information doesn't match. My question is: Is there a way to set a fully qualified named for each virtual domain or the best thing to do is to set the mx record of each domain to imail.netpoint.com.br Regards Rudy Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
