I want to set up iMail on a NAT address. Currently we
are using our public IP on the DMZ. Sonic Wall Says
The simplest way to set up the SonicWall to allow access to a LAN server
from the outside is to configure it as a public LAN server on the
Access/Services page. Simply enter the IP address of the server in the public
LAN server field for the required service(s) and click on the update button. The
server will now be accessible from the Internet and the DMZ.
I do this set the Sonic Wall to Send Email (SMTP), Retrieve
Email (POP3), SSL for web mail giving iMail a NAT address that I am pointing
to. This update the rules. What do I set the source address to? My
public IP? From * or DMZ or LAN?
Thanks for any help, I check back in the
am.
