Ever try and do something simple... And end up banging your head against
the wall? (daily)
I have a list, called test_list. If I send an e-mail using OutlookXP to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], no subject, and the first line of the
body is:
Subscribe test_list Jason
Then it works.... I am now subscribed... Same with unsubscribe. (I have
done this from within the varsitycontractors.com domain, and from a
hotmail account).
The problem is when I try and do this from a web page. The code is very
straightforward (just happens to be in Cold Fusion):
Here is the mail tag:
<cfmail FROM="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
TO="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
SUBJECT="">
subscribe test_list Jason Alba
</cfmail>
I get an e-mail from the imailserver with subject: Illegal Imail List
Server Command!
The KB on this indicates that I need to have the "subscribe test_list
Jason Alba" within the first 6 lines... Which I do. It is the only
thing in there! Whether the CF generated e-mail is HTML or not, it
shouldn't be pushing this past the 6th line...
Anyway, anyone out there come across and resolve this issue, CF or not?
Thanks,
Jason Alba
