We have been looking to offload some of the work Imail is doing.

The first obvious choice is len's imgate - but before we go there,
since I am not committed to anything here and can make a crazy
wish - I first thought I would see if something exists.

The ability control the user's right to relay (smtp auth only) per
user. I tried checking for qmail, postfix, sendmail etc but I
couldn't find anything. I don't mind trying to keep to user
databases in sync - but right now we offer no smtp relaying. I
would like to offer some, but only to certain people on certain
domains and almost never everyone on one domain.

>From what i have read, imgate does not sync up with imail in this
way and just acts as a gateway. Imail itself doesn't offer this
granular of control - but is there a way to do this? Is there an
smtp server that offers this? Any help at least pointing me in
the right direction?

Thanks

Chet
