Have
him try:
-start

ctrl-k
This
should either pick the correct name/address or pop up a dialog with
choices.
Further off-topic, outlook express is a space
pig. You can minimize the number of headaches you have with OE by
semi-regularly deleting sent/deleted items and using File, Folder, Compact All
Folders.

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: Outlook Address AutoCompleteI have a user that I just switched from Outlook Express as his mail client to Outlook 2000. He has almost 2 gigs of email stored on his machine which he claims he needs to store and have quick access to and OE just doesn't handle large email storage very efficiently. His gripe now is that when he goes to send an email, Outlook 2000 doesn't auto complete the email address in the "To:" field like OE did. I found how to use the "Check Names" button on the toolbar but he doesn't want to use this extra step to send email (he is a VERY BUSY man, cough cough).I have searched all the newsgroups and tech websites that I can think of and I even RTFM. However, I know that Micro$oft programmers also put things into the software that never make it into a manual. Any suggestions would be helpful.Thanks.Robert HaskettInformation TechnologyFrederick Ross CompanyDenver, Colorado
