Thank you very much. I have never set up an IMAP client. I tried it with my account in outlook express and it didn't seem to work. There were no specific directions I can find on the IPSWITCH site. I think what I am missing is the correct path to connect to, but I am not sure. I keep getting "Login authentication failed. None of the authentication methods supported by your IMAP server (if any) are supported by your computer" the details are:
Configuration: (user name and server deleted) Account: imap Protocol: IMAP Port: 143 Secure(SSL): 0 Code: 800cccdf I am using IMAIL 7.05 on a 2000 Server. And the IMAP services are running. I get a brief connection, then a not connected... Can I IMAP to an already existing POP account? The knowledge base seemed to indicate that is could be done. Is there a good example of how to setup am IMAP mail client? I was wondering if outlook express 5.5 would be bothered by long folder names in the path info. Please forgive my "newbie" questions... Use [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the account name. (Disclaimer - I haven't tried this, but it should work.) Or use IMAP, where you'll be able to see all your subfolders automatically.
