In  Imail,  you use Standard Aliases to do this. The logic is reversed
in Exchange; Imail uses a more standard architecture.

Nuh-uh.  You  use a Host Alias, a.k.a. Domain Alias. Look it up in the
manual.

You  can coalesce all of the users in a single database, making such a
setup  unnecessary. The main ramification is that you will not be able
to  duplicate  primary  user names--but you have that same restriction
under Exchange.
