I saw that for awhile too. Apparently the "work-around" was to delete
the index files in that user's mail directory. I ended up scheduling a
batch job to do that. Never did see a fix, but it just stopped
happening.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Outlook IMAP Header Downloading Problem. Any
replies?

Hi! I did not get any responses to my Outlook IMAP header downloading
problem, so I thought I would ask the same question again. Does anyone
know what I might try to resolve this issue?

Ben

P.S. I am new to this list.. suppossed to be on digest mode, but I am
getting a ton of individual responses all of a sudden. What's up?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello! We are running IMail 7.04 and I have a user that is having an
issue with downloading headers with Outlook (Outlook Express works
fine). He says new messages that have come into his account are not
downloading in the latest version of Outlook (fully patched Outlook 2000
as of 4/20/02). He's using an IMAP connection to the server. He says
logging into the IMail server by web messaging shows the new messages
fine, but the headers won't download into Outlook for new messages. He
said maybe after a day or two, then suddenly the headers will appear in
Outlook. He said he can always get the new headers right away if he
removes and readds the account to Outlook, but that should not be the
way to fix it everyday. Maybe worth noting, I also access the same
e-mail account using IMAP with Outlook Express on my own computer. I
don't have the problem with headers from new messages not downloading.
The guy refuses to use anything but the full-blown version of Outlook,
so I have a problem I can't find the solution for. I did a search at
google.com and here are other people that have had the same problem
mostly (no responses to these threads though):
