You can try going to 
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/9798/o98ldap.aspx to download the 
"Outlook 97/98 LDAP Directory Information Service".  I don't know if it 
actually works, but that's your best shot short of upgrading or 
switching.  You could also go to Outlook Express since it's free.
