Greetings, For two days, the web page http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html has been experiencing problems. As I get unsubscribed every night, can't change the mode to digest, etc., I have to go to this page every day. Now, when I try to use it to subscribe (or anything else for that matter), I get the confirmation e-mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to which I reply, leaving the text unmodified. What I get back is reproduced below. The only way to subscribe seems to be sending an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line "subscribe IMail_Forum Guy Isabel" (without the quotes) in the body of the message.
Could someone from Ipswitch confirm that this list is still having problems? Any estimate as to when they will be fixed? This goes beyond the the subscription Web page and its underlying imailsrv2.pl script. Commands sent directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED] sometimes return erroneous results. For instance, when I manage to resubscribe in standard mode, trying to change to digest mode sometimes results in a response stating that I'm not even subscribed, though I get the postings. This is getting rather frustrating after about two weeks of erratic behavior. Even a simple acknowledgement from fellow list members and/or Ipswitch staff letting me know that it's just only me would be much appreciated.
