Sorry Andrey, I did not read your message carefully so my first answer was completely irrelevant. I've implemented the following "solution" which looks silly but it works.
First, create another virtual host e.g. imail.earthlink.net (be sure it has a PTR record in reverse lookup zone on the appropriate DNS, as well as A record in forward lookup zone). Second, create a user there e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED] And third, tell the client to change SMTP settings in his/her mail client. This is an example for Outlook Tools=>Accounts=>Mail Tab=>Properties=>Servers Tab=>Outgoing Mail (SMTP)=> type "imail.earthlink.net Then check "My Server Requires Authentication" in Outgoing Mail Server section, then click "Settings" button and type [EMAIL PROTECTED] and password. So your SMTP server will be always saying HELO imail.earthlink.net. Of course it won't work with Webmail. You may also create a list of "allowed" users, hosts or IP addresses using accept.txt or "SMTP security" tab in order to avoid authentication (but still, they should use imail.earthlink.net as outgoing SMTP server). To my mind there should be some solution, like to edit some key in a Registry. If you find it, please just let me know.
