I also noticed that there was a bigger problem:

Instead of forwarding root to .,[EMAIL PROTECTED] it was going to
.,user1@domain  without the .com

This is bad but it shouldn't have caused that much problem.  Also the error
shown ERR alias loop I couldn't find the loop nor could I find any
information in Ipswitch's Knowledgebase.
