IMail 7.05 HF2 incorrectly declares both Vacation and Auto Reply messages as "Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii" instead of "Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1".
IMail's webb mail and other e-mail clients such as Eudora ignore the content type specification and displays the full ISO 8859-1 character set, while Microsoft Outlook 2000 treats the message as 7-bit ASCII. This was reported to Ipswitch on 2002-04-05, but to date no response or acknowledgement has been received. Has this been corrected in later versions of IMail? As far as I can there is nothing in the KB or list archives addressing this problem. Lars Bruzelius SYSteam Udac AB Box 174, SE-751 04 Uppsala, Sweden.
