AFAIK, this is not currently possible, as the .EML files apply to any domain/user that is being scanned for viruses (with the exception of the notify-local-recipients-only setting, but that doesn't apply here, since the list *is* a local recipient). Responsive guy that Scott is, perhaps this kind of thing will make its way into Declude at some point. I'd guess that it would require more Registry access to the Imail configuration than Declude currently employs, which could add some marginal overhead in big installations. > 2. In I-Mail, set it up so that only subscribers can post to the list. I don't see how this solves the problem of people posting viruses to the list--just because you're a subscriber doesn't mean you aren't inadvertently propagating due to Klez, et al. In fact, isn't being a contributor to a list one sure indicator that you'd have the list in your address book? Password-protecting and/or moderating your lists would be effective, though not much fun. > One more question. I have some lists that refer to other lists (i.e., > big-mama-list has 3 little lists). If I choose "only subscribers can > post", does that mean that I could send if my e-mail address is one of > the little lists, or does it check if I am on one of the little lists, > and then let me post? IMAILSRV does no such check, as you guessed already. -Sandy Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
