You can run NAVGW on the same machine but I choose not to. I believe in the
"one box one function" school of thought. If my Imail server goes down for
some reason I still can receive and hold inbound email on the NAVGW box
until I get the Imail server up and running again.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Norton A/V 2.5 f/Gateways w/Imail?

We're currently looking for an anti-virus solution for our Imail server.
Some people say Norton Antivirus 2.5 for Gateways has to run on a seperate
server, others say no. Anyone know for sure. We'd like to run it on our
Imail box.

Norton seems to be the most cost effective way to do anti-virus on Imail.
License fee's seem low if I read them correctly.
