I just downloaded and installed f-prot 3.12a. F-prot 3.12a is working with
Declude just as before without any configuration changes at all.

Is this for real?

Why would they go and change the command line without letting people
know?

Subject: [IMail Forum] F-Prot command line filename change - DOH!!

Yesterday afternoon, I installed the newest 3.12a F-prot on my mail
server.

This morning when I got to work, I normally would have 100+ virus
notifications. I had 2.

It seems that F-Prot changed the filename of their DOS scanner from
F-Prot.exe to FPcmd.exe and the command line parameters changed from
using a
/ to using a - and some of the command line options are no longer
available.
Check FPcmd /? for all the commands, and remove those that are in your
config that aren't in the actual parameters.

Once I made the appropriate changes to the virus.cfg file, we were
stopping
viruses again.

I suspect I'm not the only one that made this oversight.

I thought this was a minor revision change..... OK, lets NOT go
there......
