We are not an open relay 63.172.199.25 - we are very anti-spam and do not allow our users to even relay with smtp auth. We are running and have been running imail 7.06 - no upgrades or changes recently, we have had the exact same setup for years.
We have never been an open relay. Never. Never. Never ever. Did I say never? Or even, never ever? Yet both postfix and spambag have us listed. spambag seems impossible and uncaring to get off - postfix wants to know what emails have been blocked - well how in the hell am I supposed to know? WE ARE NOT AN OPEN RELAY AND WE HAVE NEVER BEEN AN OPEN RELAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! I am so f'ing pissed right now. We work so hard for a quality, secure, spam free system only to have crap like this. Users are pissed and thinking maybe I only give spam lip service. So can anyone point out a - how this happened? Don't tell me Ihad to be an open relay. That just is not true and could not have happened. I even went through the logs to see if some bizarre hack had happened against us - nothing out of the ordinary in the smtp logs. Our web log W2020531.log is about 4 times the size it normally is. Any ideas? I am waiting for my new service agreement so I can't upgrade. Any ideas? Any help? I am losing my mind.
