It sounds like you don't have permissions to write to that directory. Check your permissions.

Deleting the files and adding a user for testing purposes still gives me the error. Is there anywhere else in Imail where it stores information about the users? It has stopped working this morning again. The security settings on the list directories and files are: Administrators - Full control Everyone - Read and Execute All three of the aliases for each group are present. I can also see all of the users when I click the Users tab in the list setup. -Brian -----Original Message----- From: Brian Callies Sent: Thursday, June 06, 2002 3:28 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Problems with mailing lists - Working now Hello, Well, it seems to be working... Though I didn't do anything new. Just deleted the registry entries (because it wouldn't let me delete the lists in Imail), then re-added the lists in Imail -- something I had done on more than one occasion before. Sorry for the bother. -Brian -----Original Message----- From: Eric Shanbrom [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, June 06, 2002 2:51 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Problems with mailing lists In the list setup make sure it is using the path that you expect it to use. All of the users transferred over without a glitch. But I am having troubles with mailing lists. I copied the folders to the new server, then imported the registry settings for the lists. Everything looks fine in Imail Admin., but when I send a message to any of the lists it returns with the following error: "Article rejected! There are no subscribers to the list. (Users.lst file yet to be created.)" There is, of course, a 'users.lst' file for each list. I've tried removing the lists, then re-adding them; removing everything (including the registry settings) and starting from scratch, but the problem remains. I'm concerned that my meddling with the registry might have messed something up, but I saw no alternative to doing that. We are using version 7.07 - 2002.04.04.9 of Imail server on Windows 2000 Server.
