That's the way I have looked at it, but I did not program IMail so I do not know if there is something special about it that would cause the users guide to tell me to examine the domain name information of my machine when naming my primary host. I take it from your answer that there is nothing wrong with me creating the IMail primary host using a name which is not related to the tcp/ip hostname of the machine. Is that right?
