And one last thing in an effort to make it clear that what MS suggests
(using the NetBIOS name) is irrelevant: The Internet is not platform (OS)
dependent. Most servers run some flavor of Unix, others the Mac OS, etc. And
this platform independence is made possible by using open standards such as
TCP/IP, not a proprietary MS standard such as NetBIOS which is, by the way,
not even routable :) So, the Internet doesn't care one whit about your
machine's NetBIOS name.
