We were getting 0 results from any LDAP client we tried, except for the
IMail provided client. What we ended up doing is re-init-ting
everything and running a script to re-import all of the data.

So now we just won't mess with those default LDAP settings anymore
(while we search for a better LDAP Server to replace the IMail LDAP)

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

did you stop and restart LDAP?

have you tried a different ldap client? Also, maybe make a global
change in ldap and then optimize the db and try again.

Also, maybe try copying your person.dta file from the imail/ldap
directory to somewhere else and then do an init on ldap. (Will reset
your ldap data, not usually a good idea) then copy person.dta back to
the ldap directory, (overwriting the existing one) and then do an
optimize. may help, as it has cleared some issues for me before.
NOTE - On this copy process, I only have one domain and if you have more
than one I'm not sure if you need any other files or not.
