Sandy, Sorry for bothering you off-list about this, but I wanted to see if this was the same type of behavior as you experience with your W2K SMTP backup server.
I have each domain setup and it stores and forwards mail for the domains that I have entered. However, it for domains not on my box it accepts the mail and then immediately drops it into the "BADMAIL" folder and issues a NDR back to the person sending the message saying it can't deliver it. This obviously does not seem right. Windows 2K Server w/ Service Pack 3. Thanks for any advice. Takes less than 60 seconds to have it up, secure, and queueing. Note that it needs to run on Win2K Server to be legal--as a publicly referenced server, it is obviously going to handle more than 10 clients (see other threads on this). -Sandy Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
