On-access/Real time scanners running a mail server are not a good idea in
general, especially McAfee, which is a dog in general wrt speed.

Compounding the issue is some versions of McAfee will on-access scan the mbx
files.  At minimum mbx should be excluded from on-access scanning.

Personally I don't think ANY on-access scanning belongs on a server that
doesn't have user shares, and even then, only if there is no control over
the desktop.
