We have had two different people confirm that McAfee interprets their license in the most restrictive sense. One of those people is an authorized reseller of McAfee products and confirmed this from his discussion with McAfee, as well. I would just caution you to carefully review their license and make you own judgment, but with the knowledge that they have stated that they interpret it in the restrictive sense. My thoughts, when we were looking at a virus scanner to run with Declude, were why go with a virus scanner that could pose potential licensing problems when there were others that had much less restrictive licenses, like F-Prot--which is also what we went with and have been very please with.
