If memory serves, it's most common to have the missing trailing ">" and,
though it may seem improbable, this phenomenon has -- at times -- been
attributed to a faulty NIC. Did you try rebuilding USERS.LST (and,
optionally, USERS.TXT) for this list by copying and pasting, making sure
that no extraneous characters creep in? Just a short in the dark...
