I can see how Web Messaging templates designed for PDAs could be a cool thing on its own but I fail to see the need for them in your case :) Web Messaging is great for people who do not carry their own computer and who wish to access their e-mail on whatever computer is available in Timbuktu, as all computers nowadays have a Web browser -- so no need to install and configure your favorite e-mail client on that public PC at Starbucks.
However, you *are* carrying your Pocket PC and so it seems to me that what you want is a decent IMAP client for that platform, rather than Web Messaging with browser detection and suchlike. Don't get me wrong, I think that it could be fun to develop custom templates for PDAs but I'm rather trying to solve your problem: getting access to your mail using your PDA. You are likelier to find an IMAP client that you like than finding customized templates for IMail Web Messaging, at least currently.
