Hey, some one else experienced what I did.

When I started working for this company, the previous person in charge
of the network told me "all you have to do is this and this and that and
it is fine."

That was until our e-mails started to not reach recipients and I jumped
in and after spending about 2 hours on a conference call with a helpful
tech at AOL, (must have been the needle in the haystack,)  I became
aware of the fact that things were not as simple as he said. I ended up
completely rebuilding our DNS structure after reading the O'Reily books
and it has been working since. (Len, of course with help from you.)
