Philip,

If you have an IP address for your sites (whether one main IP and using
hostheaders, or a dedicated IP per site)  all you need to do is use this IP
address in the DNS manager provided by any of those registrars...  We have
several hosting customers that desire to leave DNS on register.com (instead
of pointing DNS control over to our DNS servers), and using their web-based
management is pretty simple to use....
