So far so good. Add this one.... I want a more secure method other than clear text authentication with the e-mail client (Outlook or Outlook Express). Once again, more HP to the SMTP service for the overhead though.
It would be nice if they came up with something that mimicked Exchange's public folders.... How about adding a little nitrous to this daemon? (Gearhead talkin, basically Imail's smtp performance it about as good as the performance of a GEO Metro. A real tire smoker!) SMTP part 2 - Why is everything thrown into one folder with logfiles and all? Anyone at Ipswitch ever hear of sub folders? Why don't we separate incoming messages from outgoing messages etc.etc.. I bet this would give a boost to Imail's smtp performance. Logging - Again why is everything thrown into the spool folder? Give us an option for each service to choose where to put the logs and while your at it give us the option on what to name the logs. I know there are some "workarounds" out there but this should be an option in Imail. Sound reasonable. What do you think?
