That;s the DEFAULT website in IIS. You can change the port number in Imail. I run it on port 80 makes it easier for my customers. I don;t run IIS on my imail boxes.

Dan,
Thanks again for the info, I tried to change from 8383 to 80, but when I tried to access the site I got an "under construction" message. IIS is running, but it was also running on the old machine with no problems. So something is being redirected along the way. Now, if there is something different 2K does that NT 4 does not, please let me know so I may pass it along. I finally started to learn NT, now I got 2k.. sheesh....

    Thanks again guys!

Paul

If you want it to come up without entering the port, you will have to go to the Webmail service tab in IMail Admin and change the port from 8383 to 80.

Make sure IIS is NOT RUNNING on the server.

Thanks for the prompt reply Eric and Rich, This is what I know so far.

Yes, we are able to telnet to it. if we type :8383 after mail.domain.net, it works, so I'm assuming, that it is a port error?

What port are you trying to hit? Do you have IIS installed? Running on same port maybe?
