I decided to actually test my own IMAIL Web messaging server with a stress test.
I logged in, opened a session, and submitted the resulting url to my stress tool. I used 40 threads. I allowed the test to run one minute and ran it twice: Test 1: Total Requests: 685 Requests per second: 11.42 Max request (answered): 45 sec Requests - completed: 668 Requests - failed: 17 (i.e., no data returned) Test 2: Total Requests: 648 Requests per second: 10.8 Max request (answered): 45 sec Requests - completed: 646 Requests - failed: 2 Each time I was able to check mail boxes, spool directory, hit compose and so on.
