I'm getting a lot of rejections from the public archiving service at
www.mail-archive.com It fails after 20 attempts. In the IMail log, I see
the following:

10:18 00:08 SMTP-(000008A8) Trying jab.org (0)
10:18 00:08 SMTP-(000008A8) Connect jab.org [198.186.203.28:25] (1)
10:18 00:08 SMTP-(000008A8) 421 zamboni.jab.org: Too many concurrent SMTP
connections; please try again later.
10:18 00:08 SMTP-(000008A8) SMTP_DELIV_FAILED
10:18 00:08 SMTP-(000008A8) >QUIT

Am I correct in understanding that the problem with "too many concurrent
SMTP connections" is that on their computer, they have too many users trying
to connect?

This brings up another question. I have IMail setup with the default of 20
retries every 30 minutes. That means that IMail only keeps trying for 10
hours. Seems to me that I would want something longer than that. I really
kind of wish we could have several tries during the first hour, then go to
trying once an hour for a set number of times. In any case, what kind of
setting do some of you use here if you don't use the default setting? I'm
thinking about setting it to 40 retries every 75 minutes. That means IMail
won't give up trying for 50 hours. Is that reasonable to some of you? What
are others doing with these settings?
