Note:  Also have seen that when the amount of emails left on the server
gets large that if their pop is set to grab between 1-5 minutes that it
will try to run multiple instances because the first instance isn't
finished yet causing it to populate their inbox with multiple of the
same mail.  Have also seen that hose up the OE file that contains the
info about what has/hasn't been popped.

I have seen this happen if someone uses IMail's client to check mail.
After that, all the mail that was in there gets downloaded back to the
user's Outlook or Outlook Express. Never did find a solution except to
not use the Imail client.
