Hello Rod.
One of our clients has an E-commerce site on MS Site Server 3.0 Commerce.
When there is activity on one of there customers accounts, say a charge or a
rental return received, a notification generated and sent to the customers.
This was a notification failure notice generated by IIS on the server.
Here is the body:
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable
to connect successfully to the destination mail server.

My first guess was an SMTP reply code but 447 isn't defined other
than 4yz being a "Transient Negative Completion reply".
RFC 822 is the "STANDARD FOR THE FORMAT OF ARPA INTERNET TEXT MESSAGES"
so perhaps its complaining about something in the headers.
What is it that's giving you that diagnostic?
