The MS Database says the max RAM for w2k server is 4 gig so I'm safe with
that, the /3GB switch is for servers with 16GB or more of RAM.
While I wait for an answer I have been looking at the previous posts and I
think it is a problem with the connection between the POP service and the
SQL database but I haven't found any solutions yet.
The SQL server is virtually stagnant with a 2GB Ram system with Dual
processor 500 Mhz PIII. I'm accessing the server via the SAN.
