In a related note to my SMTP thread. We has to set our server up in such a way that it had basically two IP's for email access. Web-based users checked their email from a site called webmail.richmond.com. However, we noticed a ton of people setting up accounts and then using the same address to POP through.
As such, we started to charge for strictly POP access for our non-Isp based customers, and physically blocked POP access on the webmail address at the firewall level. When a user purchased access we would point them to another address on the same box to supply their POP Access. All of this is pretty darn confusing, I was curious if their was a way within IMail to simply suspend POP access to an account (e.g. FLAGS)? Or is this just a dumb question?
