In everyones kill list, how many listings do you have that start with
@bounce? I see so many of these in our SMTP logs and cannot see why a legit
mail will send a @bounce ahead of the address.
with a different hostname, the sender can channel all bounces to singe machine @bounce.domain.com set up to handle bounces.

 That to me sends off the
"They don't want a return mail" SPAM flag..... hmmmmmmmmm maybe Scott can
add a @bounce test. =)
Tons of valid announcement-only list servers don't want mail back.

IMgate/postfix has a new and extremele effective Sender Address Verification filter that requires whitelisting all these type of valid announcement list servers.

Everybody else who doesn't want mail back and/or is forging [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets their mail rejected.
