You say dialup, via what ISP, AOL?

Try this and report back.

This also affects certain Earthlink and Satellite connections.

Warning, you must report back, as this also opens a security hole and has
been discussed on this forum before. Search the archives.

Subject: [IMail Forum] webmail still a headache.

I'm about ready to pull my hair out!!!!

Sandy, Len, Scott, anyone! I've gone through the archives on this and
haven't found anything that <to me> fits regarding this issue, and I really
need to get it fixed.

Quick review:
Web mail, just plain ol boring imail page. Open box, fine. Read
messages. first 2 are fine, click NEXT, and get "This page cannot be
displayed", click refresh, and it takes you to the log on screen. get back
into the mailbox, try to delete a message, get "error placing file" and the
message stays. It's producable on any dial-up, running IE 5, 6 or Netscape.
I don't see it being MTU related as there were no problems before, and I had
a user in the office who said he had changed his settings to no avail. I'm
getting people complaining about this more now so I'm really desperate. We
used to run NT4, then migrated to 2K. Still have the NT machine. I'm
planning to hook it up by itself and check settings to see any major
differences in the messaging setup. However, I've looked through the KB for
this, and have come up empty. Please guys, you're my only hope right now.
Any suggestions?

    Thanks for any help
Paul
