Someone here has forgotten the party line. Microsoft "never" introduces errors or breaks third party software. Rather, the following is much more correct:
Microsoft's security patch includes a new "standard" that must be adhered to. If your software appears to stop working after a Microsoft update it simply means you have made a coding error that does not adhear to Microsoft's new "specifications".
