Does anybody know if IMail can do reverse mail server lookups for all
incoming mail and then reject the mail that comes from a mail server that
does not have the correct PTR record?
No, it can not.

While our Declude JunkMail product can be set up to bounce E-mail from servers without a PTR record, we do not recommend it, since a large percentage of legitimate mailservers don't have a PTR record (many think they do; those that don't often don't seem to care; I've even heard of a government mailserver that doesn't have PTR record as a "security measure"!).

In our experience, the lack of a PTR record does work well towards a weighting system, as mailservers without a PTR record are much more likely to send spam than those that do.
