Hi, I had exactly the same problem with 6.06, the problem is a Microsoft Security Patch, read the following mails exchanged between me and IPSwitch Support :
Yves, To ensure the highest quality product and to allow Ipswitch to continue to improve the product we do not devote development or testing resources to old versions of IMail Server. At the time of its release we made every effort to ensure that version 6 was fully compatible with its supported operating systems. Ipswitch will be releasing a hotfix for version 7.x to address this issue. To users who are on an older version of IMail Server, a service agreement will be required to upgrade to version 7.13 and apply the hotfix. Please note that this issue does not occur on Windows NT 4 or if the Microsoft patch is removed. It is a sign of something, but I have no idea what. We're using the registry - not ODBC / SQL - for the users. Any ideas?
