I usually shave my head bald, the hair loss has progressed rapidly since
becoming an e-mail administrator. As stated in the e-mail earlier it
was NOT killer webmail, just me moving the folder accidentally. I was a
little panicked so I didn't have all that info in the e-mail, I was
hoping that maybe there was a common screw up people could make when
installing KMW SORRY~

For the record:
IMAIL 7.13
KWM for IMail 7.1x
Using Imail Registry DB
Other things on server: Declude Virus and Junkmail 1.65 and F-protect
3.12a. Diskeeper 7.0 set to run every two hours (smart scheduling
wasn't cutting it)
This server, unfortunately, is hosted for me in a remote location
(California - I'm in NY) so nothing is changed ever and I have little or
no control over my DNS or back-ups.
The server is on Raid level 1 (mirroring) - not 5 as suggested, 512 Ram,
2 9GB SCSI drives on Win2k service pack 3 with IBM Netfinity adapters (
I do get quite a few "Error while writing sockect due to error 10054 or
malicious connection type". (about 50 - 100 a day)

I was still seeing all users under the IMail Admin

POP users were fine and mail was being delivered.

Please again excuse my panic and my ignorance at times. I'm the MIS
director for Prudential Rand and I'm the only person handling e-mail,
computer/software purchasing, and telephones for 14 offices. I don't
get to dedicate the time I'd like to setting, configuring and
maintaining the e-mail. It is really a full time job.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for helping me keep it running with the
little time I can devote to it. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Marc

A few thousand things could have happened. Quick, try them all, then
when
you have no hair left, start all over and post details so we can
actually
help you.

Information that will help:

Imail version
KWM version
Which database
What else is running on the server?
Are you running an AV scanner?
Have you changed any hardware?
Have you followed advice much discussed here about maintaining the
server?
How are the drives on the server configured?
Does this affect POP3 users?
Are you still receiving e-mail?
Have you looked at the user's information in Imail Admin?

Etc, etc, etc.
