I know Imail does not support Clustering. I also know from the Archives
that Imail has successfully ran in a Microsoft Cluster. Also, from the
archives several people mentioned the following software (NSI - Double
Take, and Legato Vincia).

It appears as if Double Take is still being supported, but I was unable
to find any information on the Legato product. Legato apparently has
something that might be able to be used "Co-Standby Server 2000".

Essentially, what I am looking for is a server mirroring program. I do
not intend this configuration to be in a HA Active/Passive situation. I
would prefer it to be that way, but the cost of a HCL supported MS
cluster and the budget I have to work with are not aligned in my favor.

My intentions are to mirror the primary server and if it fails then
bring the other server online. I understand this may be a manual
process.

I have a few questions
1.) Is the Vincia product still being made?
2.) Any other programs anyone would recommend?
3.) Also, our Imail database is in the registry - How does MSCS handle
keeping that content synced since its not necessarily data that I would
assume is stored on the shared content?

Thanks for the insight/.
Darrell
